| Additional information | Working procedure: 1) Invert the bottle a few times to ensure the solution is properly suspended. 2) Take the gel out of the gel tank and submerse the gel in enough SDS-Blue to cover the gel. 3) Bands will be visible within ~5 minutes. After 30 minutes the gel is ready for imaging. For full staining leave for ~8 hours. Gels thicker than 1mm will take longer to stain. To speed up the staining you may put the container on a shaker and gently shake the submerged gel. 4) Take out the gel and gently wash it with water. 5) Image the gel. |
