ABC-TC4128
Rat primary embryonic fibroblasts are isolated from day 13.5 embryos of Sprague-Dawley rats. Rat primary embryonic fibroblasts are grown in T75 tissue culture flasks pre-coated with 0.2% gelatin for 1 hour and incubated in Culture Complete Growth Medium.

CF1 Mouse Primary Embryonic Fibroblasts from Gentaur are isolated from tissue of pathogen-free laboratory mice. Mouse Primary Embryonic Fibroblasts are grown in T25 tissue culture flasks pre-coated with gelatin-based solution for 0.5 hour and incubated in Gentaur Culture Complete Growth Medium generally for 3-7 days. Cultures are then expanded. Prior to shipping, cells are detached from flasks and immediately cryo-preserved in vials. Each vial contains at least 2x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.Mouse Primary Embryonic Fibroblasts are negative for bacteria, yeast, fungi, and mycoplasma. Cells are tested for expression of marker using the antibody of anti-FSP1/S100A4 by immunofluorescence staining. Cells can be expanded for 3-6 passages at a split ratio of 1:2 under the cell culture conditions specified by Gentaur. Repeated freezing and thawing of cells is not recommended.Standard biochemical procedures performed with cell cultures include the assay of cell to cell interaction, RT-PCR, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescent staining, flow cytometry or generating cell derivatives for desired research applications.

Human Liver Fibroblasts are isolated from normal human liver tissue. Human Liver Fibroblasts are grown in T75 tissue culture flasks pre-coated with gelatin-based coating solution for 2 min and incubated in Cell Culture Complete Growth Medium generally for 3-7 days. Cultures are then expanded. Prior to shipping, cells at passage 1 are detached from flasks and immediately cryo-preserved in vials. Each vial contains at least 0.5×10^6 cells per ml.

Fibroblasts are mesenchymal cells derived from the embryonic mesoderm. They have been extensively used for a wide range of cellular and molecular studies. This is mainly because they are one of easiest types of cells to grow in culture, and their durability makes them amenable to a wide variety of manipulations ranging from studies employing gene transfection to microinjection. There is good evidence that fibroblasts in different parts of the body are intrinsically different. Fibroblasts within tissues are exposed to a dynamic mechnical environment, which influences the structure integrity of both healthy and healing soft tissue. Fibroblasts secrete a nonrigid extracellular matrix that is rich in type I and/or type III collagen. Besides, dermal fibroblasts also secrete large quantities of hyaluronan in response to inflammatory stimuli. During wound healing, dermal fibroblasts switch from a migratory, repopulating phenotype to a contractile, matrix-reassembling phenotype.HLF from Gentaur Research Laboratories are isolated from human lymph nodes. HLF are cryopreserved at primary culture and delivered frozen. Each vial contains 5×10^5 cells in 1 ml volume. HLF are characterized by their spindle morphology and immunofluorescent method with antibody to fibronectin. HLF are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi. HLF are guaranteed to further expand for 15 population doublings at the condition provided by Gentaur Research Laboratories.

Fibroblasts are the most common types of mammary stromal cells. Mammary stromal cells differentiate into fibroblasts, adipocytes or vascular structures in a hormone- and substatum-dependent manner, and may explain the dramatic changes in stromal composition during both normal mammary gland development and tumorigenesis. The interaction between stromal cells and tumor cells is known to play a major role in cancer growth and progression. The Mammary stromal fibroblasts express and produce cytokines such as SF witch plays roles in mammary cancer. HMF from Gentaur Research Laboratories are isolated from human mammary tissue. HMF are cryopreserved at primary culture and delivered frozen. Each vial contains 5×10^5 cells in 1 ml volume. HMF are characterized by immunofluorescent method with antibodies to fibronectin, CD90 and vimentin. HMF are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi. HMF are guaranteed to further expand for 15 population doublings at the conditions provided by Gentaur Research Laboratories.
