Human subclavian artery smooth muscle cells (HScASMC) are derived from the subclavian artery. They are cryopreserved at second passage. HScASMC can be cultured and propagated 12 population doublings.
Gentaur's normal Human Aortic Smooth Muscle Cells are isolated from human aorta. Smooth muscle cells (SMC) are primary contributors to the development of arterial disease. Each vial contains 5×10^5 cells in 1 ml volume. Human Aortic SMC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies to specific to α-smooth muscle actin and desmin. It is recommended to use Smooth Muscle Cell Medium for culturing the cells in vitro.
