STJ92463
CREB-1 is a protein encoded by the CREB1 gene which is approximately 36,7 kDa. CREB-1 is localised to the nucleus and is involved in activated TLR4 signalling, DAG and IP3 signalling, RET signalling, post NMDA receptor activation events and GAB1 signalosome. This protein is phosphorylated by several protein kinases, and induces transcription of genes in response to hormonal stimulation of the cAMP pathway. It is involved in different cellular processes including the synchronization of circadian rhythmicity and the differentiation of adipose cells. CREB-1 is expressed in the eye, liver, nervous system, blood and the adrenal gland. Mutations in the CREB1 gene result in Coffin-Lowry syndrome and Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome. STJ92463 was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of CREB-1 protein.
