Recently oxidative RNA damage has been described in conjunction with a wide variety of neurological diseases including Alzheimer?s disease, Parkinson?s disease, Dementia with Lewy Bodies, prion disease, and subacute sclerosing panencephalitis. We have developed an easy-to-use ELISA for the detection of the most common marker of RNA damage: 8-hydroxyguanosine (8-OHG).
